
Hi. I’m Alyssa and this is Fancy Screams.
I make ice cream. And because it’s all super, and I mean super, small batch, I make ice cream that’s pretty fun. Plus 50% of every purchase goes to an organization supporting BIPOC liberation or mutual aid.
I also believe that food is inherently political. The land on which I stand making ice cream is the traditional home of the Coast Salish people, the traditional home of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish, Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations. I’m a guest. And in an ongoing effort to decolonize my kitchen, I’ll be crediting the cultures and movements that created the flavors we find so damn dreamy today.
